Everything has been a little crazy!!! So here are some of my latest events! (:

-Christmas Parade-
This parade was so much fun. There were many floats that were really fun and exciting. I was so happy because I got to wear my fur coat for the first time! (: There were alot of cute little kids there who had huge smiles on their faces.

-The Festival of Tree's-
This event showed the true meaning of Christmas. People take their time to make tree's for special people. I got the opportunity to help out with the Kid's Corner, where I collected ticket's and helped with the bubble machine.

The Utah USA Pageant
I was lucky enough to go and watch the Utah USA pageant! Every girl who competed in this pageant did very well. They should be very proud of themselves! I give congrats to the new title holders in the Miss and Teen division, and to every girl who competed!

I have received many wonderful gifts from my director Loreen!
I loved my licence plate holder! It was so cute! It has pink crowns, and my title "Miss Teen US Continental" written in pink as well on it!
Besides the licence plate holder, i received a PINK crown decal to put on the back of a car window. (once I get a car.)
As well as the gifts for the car, I was given a breast cancer bracelet.
This bracelet is very beautiful. It has a heart locket, which you can open, and on the inside it reads... "everything is possible", as well as "trust your journey."
Thank you so much Loreen!
The Miss Brigham City Pageant

The New Miss Brigham City was so nice! I wish her the best in everything!

More updates coming soon!
Hello everyone!!! My computer has been being repaired!
So here are some of the latest updates... (:
No More Homeless Pets in Utah
Presents The: Save a Stray Soiree
The No More Homeless Pets in Utah is a wonderful organization that works to place homeless pets with families in Utah. In 2008 over 65,000 homeless animals had to be put down. This organization also works to help spade and neuter animals. This event hosted in a silent auction, a live auction, and a dinner. They were able to raise over 74,000 dollars.

This is Todd and Erin from B98.7 I had the opportunity to meet and talk with them. They MC'd the event! They were very nice!

My mother and I were photographed for a local Salt Lake Magazine.

This event was so much fun, and showed how much people care about homeless animals!

This is one of the Auctioneers.

They both were so funny, plus... they could talk really fast (:

It was so fun to ride on the back of the motorcycle, even though it was just around the parking lot. (:

Scenes from Nationals!

It was so unreal when people would come up to you and ask for your autograph. You had to take a second thought, and think to yourself. Wait me??? Each day was so much fun!! We made it a blast! I will never forget this experience!!

I thank all the girls for all the memories we had, they will last forever!

My Very First Appearance!!!

Since I arrived home, things have been going crazy! I had my very first appearance on Monday July 13th, at a horse parade, where I helped out by serving food at a barbeque.

It was so much fun to see, and
meet all my fans!!! I had a Blast!

All the little children were so cute!!! I loved signing pictures for them!

The Pageant!!!

I was just crowned Miss Teen US Continental, Saturday, July 11th, 2009.

What an amazing experience it was! I had so much fun, and met so many new friends, that will last for a lifetime!

We started out on Thursday, July 9th with orientation, a lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen, shopping at the Gateway Mall, and to top that night off we went to a Bee’s game!

That day was so much fun! My favorite part was when all the little children would run up to the contestants, and want them to sign a picture. You could see the happiness in their eyes, and it made you feel so wonderful.

Friday was great. We had such an amazing speaker, Cherie Burton. She was so inspirational. She showed the example of a strong, independent, all around woman.
We also had a makeup workshop that day. They showed us the basics of how to apply your makeup. They did a great job!

Later that night, we had our personal interviews. We interviewed one on one with each judge, where it gave them the opportunity to get to know each contestant as a person! For me, that was the part of the pageant I was most nervous for, but I ended up enjoying it.

Then came Saturday (the big day). We had rehearsal, that’s where we learned our opening number, and the walking patterns. We practiced and practiced, until the time came to start getting ready. Before we knew it the pageant was starting. It was amazing! When I was on stage, it felt like I was on top of the world.

I can’t even describe the feeling when my name was announced as the new Miss Teen US Continental. The feeling was so overwhelming.

The after party was so much fun, they presented us with many amazing gifts! Thank you to all the sponsors, but most of all I give big thanks to our fantastic director Loreen Olney. None of this would have been possible without her!!! She did a great job, and sacrificed so much of her own personal time to create a memorable time for everyone!

Sunday Tina, Monica, and I had a photo shoot with Marc Reynolds. It was so much fun! He takes fabulous pictures. I can’t wait for everyone to see them.

I just want to encourage any young girl who has ever thought about doing something like this, TO GO FOR IT!!! It’s a once in a life time opportunity. Just believe in yourself and follow your dreams!

I look forward to the year that lies ahead! I will blog more about appearances, and other activites I’m involved in throughout the year!
